I'm back from my trip to Vermont. I visited a garden there and also snapped some shots of my Mother's flowers.

Wisconsin scenery on a drive to my favorite garden store

Well my kids had a rare week of day camp(Camp Invention). So I had a bit of time today to drive up to Eberts Nusery in Ixonia, Wisconsin. This is my all time favorite store and I had to check out the sales. Took some pictures on the drive. August in Wisconsin is not bad. Check back with me in January & it may be a different story.

Today my son looked out the window and yelled,"deer". Sure enough there was a mother and two babies. We don't see a whole lot of deer here, as there are many hunters in Wisconsin.


















We do see lots of rabbits. There is a big population here despite the coyotes & hawks.

August 1st, butterflies and the moon

I've been seeing more and more butterflies lately. This one loves the blue fortune Agastache(along with the bees)









The blue fortune Agastache has spread into our stone wall. I kind of like it there.
