Rose Breasted Grosbeak is back again

This is one bird that migrates through, but unfortunately doesn't stick around. I spotted two male grosbeaks today at the feeder.

It's so pretty. We don't get those here, you're lucky to catch it passing through.

I would say I see a Rose Breasted Grosbeak passing through for one or two days maybe every other year. It's a treat when I see them and I always hope they'll stick around.

Beautiful! I know we have hummingbirds in my area (Northern Illinois). Is a feeder enough to attract them to your yard?
