hummingbirds

I've been busy this summer. Trips to Iceland and Maine and packing kids for various camps. I finally managed to get out in the garden and capture some hummingbird pictures. There were at least 4 flying around and chasing each other today. Lots of fun:)

Lisa ... WOW ! You captured them wonderfully .. it is difficult to get the kind of pictures you have .. I appreciate seeing your pictures more so because we have not had such great luck with drawing them into my garden (or they visit when I am not looking ? LOL)

These are truly amazing shots! What kind of flowers do I have to grow to attract hummingbirds to my yard. I live in the northern US, so should I just get a feeder like this one? http://www.birdfeeders.com/store/hummingbird-feeders/b122tf

What incredible photography! I spent one afternoon trying to get a few photos and was not as successful as you have been. Thanks for sharing.
