Early spring back in Wisconsin

I got out in the garden today to see how much further along spring is than before we left for vacation. Looks like things are starting to grow. The chives have sprouted ,as well as the crocus and early daffodils.

back from Park City, Utah

We just got back from our vacation in Park City, Utah. It was funny to see flowers and dandelions blooming at the foot of the ski mountains. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Pictures From A Sunny, Cool March Day

Some flowers blooming today. The pansies were planted last fall.

These poor old sunflowers have seen better days.

First Crocus

The first crocus bloomed today:) It reached 69 degrees here. It may snow again in two days, but I'll take this spring weather any time. The grackles, red winged black bird and geese are migrating thru here in big groups right now. I even saw a robin yesterday.

Trying out my new camera

I'm just testing out my new camera. I'm not really sure how to use it. As you can see the snow is melting today. Poor Frosty has bit the dust. I'm amazed some of my bulbs are so far along considering they've been under a foot of snow.
