We are having a bit of a thaw, so I decided to go out for a walk.

I just snapped some of these while I was out driving around. It is great to see the sun out today.

A drive on Pewaukee Lake

While driving by Pewaukee Lake today, I noticed there were almost as many people out enjoying it, as there are in the summer. Ice fishermen, families on picnics & people racing motorcycles. Having only lived in Wisconsin for only two years we have never driven out on a lake , so we had to do it. (yes,that is my minivan:)

Just another winter sunset

Not as cold here today. It got up to 21 degrees. It may actually get abover freezing next week.

Cold times

It is up to -3F this morning which is a vast improvement over the -16F of a couple days ago. The animals keep enjoying my bird feeders and heated bird bath.
