First Hummingbird arrived today
Not the best pictures as I snapped them from inside and through the deck rails, but it does show the first hummingbird of the season:)

How nice, I supose this is an happening for you.
I live in northern wisconsin and have not yet seen any hummers. do you live in southern or middle wisconsin? I usually see hummers at our feeders approx. 5th/6th of may and haven't seen them yet.

I have not seen one in Germantown or Mequon yet, but they're not as common where I usually am because it's not as wooded and they like to hide in tall trees before they come down to feed. What kind of lens do you have zoom-wise? Do you use a 18-200mm, 55-200mm, or 70-300mm zoom? You always get such great shots.
