crocisma

The crocisma just started blooming this week here. It has really filled in this year. The hummingbirds are using it, but I have yet to get a picture of it. I love it's bright color.

Great hummingbird site! I'm trying to attract more. What's the #1 flower I should have??

I would recoment Black and Blue salvia. Should come back every year for you in your zone too.

I really enjoy your blog. We live in a less wooded area in Germantown and we have petunias, bee balm, red hot poker, candy corn vine, trumpet honeysuckle, cardinal flowers, etc. and I'm lucky if I see a hummingbird three or four times a year. Enjoy. We'll keep trying. :)

Your Crocosmia is gorgeous! I just planted a yellow variety called 'Diademe' between my 'Stella de Oro' daylilies.
