First Tulips

The first tulips started blooming today. The ones that were not devored by rabbits and deer. The leaves on the trees are getting ready to pop out as well. I would say spring is definately here, but then again I did here a rumor of snow showers next week. I really hope that isn't true.

Love the color of your tulip. The walk way looks very nice.

I love looking at your pictures... but they make me so jealous! Based on your previous posts, we don't live very far apart (I actually know where Ixonia, Wales and Pewaukee Lake are! I live in the Lisbon/Sussex/Merton area), yet you had crocuses, hyacinths and tulips all before mine were even thinking about blooming. I just started gardening last year... I think my thumb isn't as green as I'd like yet!

Karen, I agree no more snow please!

Thanks Laurie!

Donna,
How funny that you live so close. My son plays soccer out in Merton. I have some sunny areas in front of my house that bloom a bit early. I also planted early blooming daffodils. Most of my flowers bloom a bit later than shown.
